OAK BRUSH Salon is a thriving, charming salon space in the heart of Durango, known for creating an elevated yet welcoming experience for our guests.

We’re looking for a Salon Manager to lead our front desk team and oversee the daily operations that keep our salon thriving.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing people, process, and customer experience.

The Details

  • Monday - Saturday availability is required, between 8:30am - 6:30pm

    30 - 40 hours/week

  • Competitive hourly pay + performance incentives, with perks including discounted retail and complimentary salon services

    Starting $20/hour, growth after 90 days. Salary pay is available

  • Ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a team setting and enjoys coaching others. You’ll be leading, training and motivating a front desk team

  • Managerial or supervisory experience (retail, hospitality, or salon experience preferred). With interest in the beauty industry and passion for delivering an outstanding client experience

  • Oversee daily salon operations and ensuring smooth front desk flow. Handling scheduling adjustments, client concerns, and day-to-day problem-solving

  • Managing inventory, placing orders, and keeping retail + backbar stocked. Learn our POS/Booking system, Vagaro

  • Acting as a liaison between salon ownership, stylists, and the front desk team. Maintain a warm, professional environment that aligns with OAK BRUSH’s brand

  • Strong organizational and communication skills. A people-first mindset with the ability to resolve issues gracefully

  • Comfort with numbers, reports, and inventory systems. Monitoring reports and KPIs to track performance and opportunities. Meet with Salon Owner to review progress

RESPONSIBILITY

You will be trusted with cash handling, appointment making, inventory and cleanliness. Our stylists also rely on your support throughout the day - answering phone calls, scheduling services, greeting clients. Your support goes a long way in keeping the salon running smooth
